"Hn," he smirked, "do you mind if I sit here?" Konotsu asked.
I nodded then he took his seat. ...Eh? What was that just now? He just smirked at me! Looks like he's up to something, but I can't tell if it's a good thing or bad thing.
After Ms. Mizuki took attendence, she started her lesson plan. I'm still kind of worried, but I can't really say he's up to no good. I don't even know the guy!
After class, it was lunch break. So, Atsuni and I went straight outside and head towards the "usual cherry blossom tree." I say the "usual cherry blossom tree" because it's the same tree where Naoko, Atsuni, and I always ate lunch under. Well, before Naoko moved to Kyoto. Then a thought hit me.
"Hey, Atsuni? Didn't Konotsu say he came here from Kyoto?"
"Now that I think about it, he did say that. But why're you asking that so suddenly?"
"Oh, no special reason actually. I just thought that since Naoko moved there, he could have known her...er yeah."
"Hm. I highly doubt that. Kyoto is a pretty big place."
"Yeah you're right. I wonder how big Kyoto is compared to Tomoeda," I pondered.
"Probably bigger! But I wouldn't know the exact size!" Atsuni chuckled.
So you're probably wondering where's my school? Who's Naoko? And what the heck happened to Konotsu?
Well, I go to Tomoeda High School. Where everyone wears school uniforms! I personally love the fact that we have uniforms. Hey, they're not even that bad. The girls uniforms consists of a black miniskirt, white thigh high socks, and the whole white sailor shirt. The cape looking thing on the sailor shirt is black with two thin red lines running parallel around the edge. It ties up in the front with a red bow. Um, it basically hangs off of my chest.
Oh, I'm sorry! I have to stop talking now because it's already time for Atsuni and I to head back to class to learn. Not that I'm looking forward to it.
By the time we got back to class, most of the girls had not come back from break yet, except me and Atsuni. Most of the guys were all there and they all were just talking, like guys do. So, Atsuni and I went to go talk while we sat in our seats. Since, they were right next to each other.
Right after we took our seats, Konotsu came into the classroom with most of the girls, in our class, surrounding him. Haha. He looks so annoyed right now. I mean everytime there's a hot guy , that's new in class, girl's suffocate the life out of him. *Cough* Not literally, they just annoy him a lot. And I mean A LOT.
I don't think Konotsu's "hot" or anything. I don't really think about stuff like that. Hm...probably explains why I haven't had a boyfriend yet. And I'm not the only one, Atsuni too. But the guys' that've asked her out before, she just said that they weren't guys' she like "LIKED". If you know what I mean.
Konotsu returned to his desk when he finally escaped the herd of desparate girls. I finally chuckled along with Atsuni because of what we have just witnessed. When Konotsu sat down, he sighed heavily. Then heard me and Atsuni laughing and turned around and raises a brow at us.
"What is so funny?" He asked with a slight annoyance in his voice.
"Well, to tell you the truth, this happens every year," Atsuni said smartly.
"Are you serious?" He looked at Atsuni not suprised.
"I think you're one of the lucky ones. Usually, there's already girls that say 'I love you,' already," I answered. (Fortunately, Ms. Mizuki is probably taking her time eating her lunch. So, it'll be a while before she comes back.)
"Konotsu, may I speak to you in the hallway for a minute?" Asked Kohako. One of the desparate girls. She may look innocent but she is totally fake!
"Hn," Konotsu grunted and walked with Kohako into the hallway. He had an annoyed kind of expression. I wonder what-
"Sakura! You don't think--"
"Hm. I sure do. She's going to ask him out or something like that," I said trying to hold in the laughter. (Sorry Atsuni I just had to cut you off!) Five or more minutes went by until Konotsu returned to his seat again. Atsuni and I immediately stopped our conversation Konotsu looked even more annoyed. And that made me curious.
"What happened?" I asked curiously.
"She told me that she 'loves me' and asked me to be her boyfriend," he sighed.
"..."
"Well, where is she? She didn't come--"
"I turned her down. She doesn't even--" He stopped talking. Why did he stop talking? After a few periods of seconds he looked me in the eyes and smirked. Why does he keep smirking?! So annoying! Ugh. "Why do you want to know?"
"What?" I said. Now trying to hide the curiousity. Because I want to know! Sheesh!
"You sound so curious. Why do you want to know so badly?" He said.
"I don't actually. Don't jump to conclusions." After that I looked out the window hoping he would turn back around in his seat already. I just knew he was staring at me. Then I quickly glared at him. He would just not turn around! "Is there something wrong?" I asked trying to sound serious. But it didn't come out like that. It came out more like I was about to crack a laugh. I wasn't trying to be funny though!
"No, there isn't," said Konotsu. Before he turned around he smirked. AGAIN! I bet he's still smirking. Ugh. Why am I getting so worked up over this? I'm so lame.
Soon after, we had to go back to learning... You have no idea how boring the lesson was! Not even into the middle of the lesson yet! Well, we're just reviewing stuff from last year. So, I'll be just fine....
