"Matsuyuki-san is so HOT!"
"GO OUT WITH ME!"

Fan-girls continuously screamed over Reiyu as Naomi and I made it out of the school.

"So annoying." I muttered.

Naomi chuckled. "Well, since it's just you and me for now. We're going to the special cafe!"

"Special cafe?" I asked confused.

Naomi waved her finger at me. "You'll just have to wait 'til we get there!"

"Alright then." I wondered what was so special about it. I smiled. "Thanks Naomi."

She patted me on the back. "Don't thank me just yet. Thank me when we get to the special cafe."

I saw something white fall on my nose. Then I realized it was snowing.

"It's beautiful."

Naomi smiled. "Yes it is. Happy birthday Nano-chan."

I smiled.

It was still snowing lightly when we arrived at the special cafe. But Naomi stopped before we could actually get inside.

"Close your eyes!"

I looked at her and pouted. "Why?"

"We don't call it a special cafe for nothing! And this will be great. So, close your eyes!"

She sounded so excited. I didn't want to ruin anything for her. So, I did what she said and closed my eyes.

"Okay. Here we go."

I felt someone take my hand and lead me towards a table. I heard people whisper and a few snorts. I also heard faint sounds of acoustic/cafe music playing.

"Sit here please."

I sat down on a cushion seat. It was an unfamiliar voice. It sounded mostly like a guy though.

"Don't open your eyes just yet, okay?"

It was Naomi's voice.

I nodded. What was going on?

I sat there for a while listening to my surroundings. I heard people shuffling around but I couldn't exactly tell what was happening.

As I sighed, I felt someone sit next to me. "Naomi?"

"No. It's Reiyu."

As soon as I heard his voice my eyes shot open but they were quickly covered by Reiyu's hands.

"Not yet!" I heard him chuckle. "You're eager to see me?"

I flushed. "No, I-I was just surprised." What was he doing here? I didn't even see him following us!

"Okay, we're ready!" Naomi announced.

Reiyu removed his hands from my eyes and I saw people crowded around the table I sat at.

I glanced around at everyone. Inuka-sensei was there, dad, the bodyguards, and Reiyu. The people I wanted to be there were all here. I felt special.

I didn't even notice the cake that was put in front of me until Naomi lit the candles on it. Then I realized the only person who wasn't there was..

"Alright! YOSH!"

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you.."

They kept singing. I felt really happy at the moment. They were all here for me.

"Happy birthday dear Nano-chan. Happy birthday to you!"

"Nano-chan! Make a wish!"

I had on a soft expression and took a deep breath...Maybe she'll come back one day...but this is all I really want....Thank you..

I blew out the 18 candles quickly. I made sure I had enough breath to get all of them out.

"Woo!! Good job!" The bodyguards praised.

They were pretty funny guys. I liked them.

My dad came closer to me and said "Enjoy yourself. You can stay out as long as you like. Reiyu will be staying with you for the remainder of the day."

"Eh? You're not staying?" I was going to pout.

He gave me a kiss on my forehead. "I'm sorry but I do have tons of paper work to do at home."

One of the bodyguards came up to us. "Yukumi-sama we are heading out now. You're car will be waiting out in front."

My dad nodded at him and the bodyguard walked out of the cafe. "Nano, I have to get going now. I'll see you when you get home."

"Aw, alright. See you." I smiled at my dad as he left the cafe.

Hm. Now what? I sighed and looked at my cake. It was rather large.

Naomi slid down the booth and sat on my left side. "You like it? My friend Mel-chan made it! She owns this cafe."

"Eh? Sugoi ne. She did an amazing job." I commented when seeing the cinnamoroll characters on the cake.

"Anyways! Let's eat your cake!" Naomi yelled.

I chuckled. "Okay."

After eating a piece of the cake. I was already full. It was one of the most delicious cakes I've ever eaten. So, I guess my piece was pretty big. Since I was so full...I started getting a little drowsy.

"Neee. Naomi-chan, I'm sleepy already."

"Too bad Nano-chan! We've got the whole day ahead of us! And your dad said you could come home at any time!" She started to smile mischeviously.

I narrowed my eyes at her. "What are you planning?"

She got closer to me and started to whisper. "Well, you're actually going to come to my house-"

I gave her a look. "Then?"

"We're going to play games."

Naomi was a little intense when it came to games. I swear. Her games are fun...but really crazy. I actually wanted to skip this and go home. I needed to figure a way out of this. One time even involved everyone making out with each other. Except me. I had to leave early. But I'm glad I got to leave though. It was only girls making out with each other but really...I don't kiss girls!

I saw Naomi giggling to herself and I shivered only imagining what she would make us do. "Ah, Naomi? I'm going to have to pass on that. I think I'm going to head home instead."

She put on a frown. "Eh? Why?"

I sighed. "I have something really important to do. Sorry!" I gave her an apologetic look.

She actually does know what kind of important things I usually had to do. When I said important, I meant important.

She patted me on the back. "Aw, it's alright. We'll do something fun next time!" She got up and straightened herself up. "Nano-chan, I should get going then. I'll see you tomorrow!"

I nodded and waved to her goodbye as she walked out of the cafe. I got up soon after and noticed that Reiyu was watching me intently.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

He got up and picked up my school bag and handed it to me. "Yes."

As we were walking home there was an awkward silence between Reiyu and I. I tensed up a little too. Augh! What is he thinking? I can't really stand this silence-

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt my arm brush against Reiyu's. "Oh sorry!"

He smiled. "Don't be. It's nothing."

I looked away from him. I was blushing hard. I wasn't a very good conversationalist and I was just feeling terrible. Of all people, Reiyu had to be my personal bodyguard! Maybe if it was an middle aged guy bodyguard he would have talked about things like giving relationship advice. I usually find relationship advice amusing and interesting. Or maybe telling me about his first love or-

That was it! I'll ask him about his first love...Or would that be too awkward? Crap.

I stared at my feet while I walked. I really did suck at conversations.

"Nano?"

His voice rang softly in my ears. I turned my attention to him quickly. "Yes?"

Reiyu was facing forward but looked at me from the corner of his eye. "We passed your house."

My eyes widened and I stopped walking. "Eh? But- I-I thought. How long have we've been walking?"

I didn't get it. He didn't say anything earlier. Why didn't he say anything?

He chuckled a little after seeing me get flustered and confused. "I'm sorry. But you looked like you were concentrated really hard on your thoughts."

I felt something in my stomach twist when I saw him laugh. I was thinking about how to talk to you! Erg!

Then he turned back to the direction of my house and smiled. "Well, we didn't walk that far anyway. Shall we go back now?"

I nodded and we started are walk back to my house again. We really weren't as far as I thought we were. We were already at the gates to my house when Reiyu took a card out and swiped it on the slot side of the gate. My house was extra secure, especially with special cards and whatnot.

When Reiyu and I got inside of my house we were greeted by all of our bodyguards.

"Welcome home!"

I smiled at all of them. They were really way too nice. "Thank you."

They all just stood there smiling.

I started to feel awkward again so I said, "Um, you guys don't really have to watch me inside the house. I know it's extra secure and all. So there's really no need." I tried to say it with my most sincere tone.

They all nodded and said in unison, "Yes, Nano-chan." And with that they all dispersed into their rooms. I could have sworn I heard a couple of them saying that they got to watch their favorite soap opera too.

I noticed Reiyu walking ahead of me. It felt weird walking behind him. I distanced myself a little more. I felt like I was stalking him or something.

I guess my house was pretty much like a mansion but I just didn't like admitting it. I watched Reiyu's back as he turned into one of our elevators. Our floor was on the top floor and we had 5 floors. I hated admitting that one. having 5 floors in one house-, mansion, is really a bit too much for me.

As I was nearing the elevator, I already decided to take the stairs and avoid anymore awkward silences. But when I did pass the elevator I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me into the elevator.

I gasped.

I heard the doors of the elevator close and I was backed up against the elevator wall by Reiyu. His hands were holding my hands up against the wall too which kept me from escaping.

My stomach was now feeling really tense. "Reiyu, what's gotten into you?" I searched his eyes for any type of emotion and I couldn't even tell what he was feeling. "Let me go. Please." I said giving up trying to find anything.

"You really don't remember me?" He locked on to my eyes and at the same time stopped the elevator.

I felt my knees buckle but I tried harder to stand. I really couldn't stand the way he was looking at me. I was already aware of the blush that appeared on my cheeks. "No, I- What are you even talking about?"

He started inching closer to my face. "Maybe I can help you remember. They said I could tell you anyway."

I noticed his voice change in the phrase as he was inching closer  to me. My eye lids were already half closed. I was in his trance already.  I looked deeply into his eyes. And when realization hit me, his lips were already on mine. My eyes were feeling heavier with every second passing by. It was a small chaste kiss. It lasted for only a second because I pushed him away angrily.

I huffed and puffed and fell on the floor. "You didn't have to go that far!" I yelled at him obviously angry but my heart was racing. I liked the kiss. I didn't want to admit that.

He leaned on the opposite side of me and smirked. "It really took you long enough to remember me," he folded his arms together and stared at me.

I fumed on the ground and narrowed my eyes at him. "What the heck are you doing here Sensei?"

He laughed and pressed the button for the elevator to go up to our floor. "I am not your sensei anymore, Nano."

I struggled onto my feet and this time I fisted my hands together gaining every ounce of my dignity back, "Well, then who in the world are you?"

"My real name is, in fact, Reiyu Matsuyuki and I am 18. Your father just decided to change everything about me when I had to become your teacher."

I cocked an eyebrow. "Had?"

He sighed and looked at me seriously. "They picked me because I didn't look as old as all the other bodyguards and I knew a lot about those certain subjects too. So, they chose me to teach and protect you."

I laughed sarcastically as the elevator doors opened. "And did my father tell you to kiss me too?" I asked Reiyu as I walked out of the elevator.

I didn't hear a response from Reiyu after. So, I looked back and found him blushing and concentrating on the ground as he walked behind me.

I immediately faced forward and smiled  and laughed inwardly. Was he that embarrassed?  

When I reached my room, I felt a presence behind me. I stopped and turned my head a little to the side and when I did my lips came in contact with Reiyu's lips again but this time he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I flushed and my heart was pounding. "What're you-"

Before I could protest he placed another kiss on my forehead. He whispered in my ears, "I know you liked me when I was your teacher."

My breathe became slow and so did my heart beat but he then unwrapped his arms from around me and started walking towards his room.

I stood there watching him. Still shocked at what just happened and what I just heard.

He opened his door but paused to looked back at me. "And no one told me to kiss you."

After hearing that, I immediately shut my door behind me and collapsed on the floor. Then I brought my knees up closer. So that I could hide my face in them. I was flushing furiously.

That did not just happen.  

"And no one told me to kiss you."

I got up and flopped on to my bed, messing it up at the same time. "Augh! Get out of my head!" I yelled inwardly and buried my face into my pillow.

He sure didn't look like sensei anymore. The only thing that was the same was his eyes.

I flushed and my heart started racing when I remembered what had just occurred. I went under my sheets trying to calm myself down. I started to get more and more comfortable each passing second. I laid there drifting off into my sweet slumbers. My eyes were getting heavier with drowsiness.

They closed completely and I was sleeping. And I thought "It wouldn't hurt to turn in early...no one would mind..."
