"EHHHHHHHHH?!"

I sighed.

"Don't "Eh" me! You will read pages 1-57 of The Catcher in the Rye," said our young sensei.

He was still a college student too. His name is Nakamura Inuka. My best friend, Naomi Tokomi, is in love with him. To her, it's real.

"Tokomi-san, please see me after class."

*Ring*

The class shuffled out of their seats while groaning and complaining.

I looked over at Naomi and saw her flush. It was so cute! It was our senior year in high school. Naomi just turned 18. I'm still 17 but it's fine. It's actually better for Naomi though. Even though she's a student she's not supposed to be seeing sensei but after high school they're going to be together.

I got up from my seat and started walking out of the classroom. Before I was completely out of the classroom I said, "Don't do anything inappropriate now."

"Nano-chan!" Naomi yelled embarrassed.

"Yukumi-san!" Sensei laughed.

I stopped when I heard sensei laughing and turned back around confused. "Why-"

"We will be having a new student tomorrow-"

I gave him a dumb look.

"-You will be showing the new student around."

"I knew it," I sighed.

"You may leave now." Sensei said with a sinister smile.  

I raised my eyebrows. "Okay then," I sweatdropped. "Bye."

Sensei always left me to be responsible for things. It was annoying. I mean, I liked showing new students around but they were always girls! Why not a guy for once? A cute guy too!

I sighed and brushed it off. Tomorrow will be a better day. Maybe I'll find someone someday just not today...

"Ugh! Let go of me!"

Suddenly, I saw a girl who looked my age try to shove off some creepy looking guy. I could tell by looking at his uniform he was from that rich, private, snobbish high school nearby my school, Inaka Private school.

This girl needed help. All those guys from that school were not good at all.

I saw him raise his hand. I started towards them and just before his hand came in contact with her face. I punched the guy in his face.

"Who are you! Do you know who I am?-"

I straightened myself. "My name's Nano Yukumi and I do not care who you are."

"Well, when my father hear's about this-"

I smirked. "Oh my, you're going to tell on-MURFGRA"

Out of nowhere, a guy covers my mouth and says "That's enough, Shou."

"But-"

"Go home before I tell your parents and don't ever lay your hands on a girl anymore."

I watched as Shou ran away leaving a trail of dust in the air.

The guy's hand was still covering my mouth, so I had to remove it myself. I couldn't really breathe. I watched as he took out his cell phone and make a call.

Okay then...Obsidian eyes? Nice. Chocolate brown hair...He's alright.

"Nano-chan!! Thank you so much for saving me!" I finally realized the girl I kind of saved was Naomi's little sister Mimi.

I looked at her confused. "Mimi, why were you with such a creep?"

She looked at me teary-eyed. "He was asking me for Ne-chan's cell phone number!"

I smiled at her and petted her head. Of course. They always want Naomi's number. She was very popular at school. "Well, you're safe now. Tell your sister she's owes me, Okay?" I chuckled and winked at her.

Her eyes got all starry-eyed and her cheeks turned red. "Okay Nano-chan!"

And with that I watched her skip and blend into the passerby's.

I felt the wind blow on my face. It felt nice. The air was getting colder. It was almost winter. Before I turned around, I glanced at a couple laughing and holding hands. They looked happy, I smiled.

"Nice to meet you."

A voice from behind me said.

I turned around quickly. It was the obsidian-eyed guy.

I blinked at his height. He was tall and I hate to admit..he was cute.

"My name is Matsuyuki Reiyu."

Reiyu, huh?

"I'm Yukumi Nano. Thanks for what you did back there anyways."

"No problem. Shou is a pretty rude guy. I'm glad I came in time."

Pretty rude? Talk about incredibly disgusting excuse for a male!

A black car stopped beside us and Reiyu started walking towards it.

I watched as he opened the door and got in it.  He looked back at me and smiled, "See you around, Nano-chan."

I flushed. "See you  around, Nano-chan"

I hid my face in my pillow. That...Augh! What was that?

At least I won't see him around again. That's the first time I've ever seen him around. So, there probably won't be another..

"Morning Nano-chan!" Naomi greeted. "Thanks for saving Mimi yesterday."

I brushed off the remaining snowflakes on my head. It was snowing outside. My 2nd favorite season, Winter.

I smiled at her, "It wasn't anything. I did have some help too."

"KAWAII DESU NEE!"
"Did you see him!?"
"He's SO HOT!"

Naomi and I glanced at each other. We both sighed in unison.

"Sensei's new student?" I asked her.

I saw her sweatdrop. "Yeah."

We tried walking towards the classroom and we finally got past the heard of fan girls. They were so crowded around the new kid that Naomi and I couldn't see him.

"Apparently this new student is a guy," I told Naomi.

She nodded.

"Yukumi-san!" Sensei called from his desk.

I walked up to his desk and brushed off snowflakes I saw still on my blazer shoulder. "Yes?"

"The new student will meet you in the hallway after the first bell rings."

I scrunched together my eyebrows. "Why during class?"

Sensei fixed his glasses and looked at me seriously. "Even though you are well known here Yukumi-san, the students do not know that you're the daughter of Yukumi Corp's master.  You must also stay safe here in this school."

Oh, I forgot to mention my dad is the big famous business owner of Yukumi Corp. I don't really remember what the Yukumi Corp is famous for though. My dad told me, but I forgot. Haha.

"The fan-girls are too crazy about the new student and if they see you two together they'll think of anything. Understand?"

I put my hand on my hip. "I can handle them," I told sensei confidently.

"Yukumi-san this is serious," Sensei started whispering.

"I am being serious!" I whispered back.

He sighed. "Well, just be careful then."

I smirked. "You know me too well Sensei," I giggled.

*Ring!*

"You better get going now Yukumi-san," Sensei said.

"Okay."

I looked back at him and gave him a reassuring smile. I shut the door behind me.

I sighed. I started walking but then I stopped. "Where am I supposed to meet this new kid!?"

Then three girls were walking towards my direction.

"He's so cute! Don't you think so Kyoko-san?"

Kyoko smirked.

I kept walking and when we walked right past each other I could've swore I saw that Kyoko girl give me a look.

I smiled. She seems nice.

I heard their footsteps and voices get faint. I turned a corner and felt my face crash into something or should I say someone?

"Ouch-MFFFURERG!"

I felt an arm go around me, a hand covering my mouth, and a body behind me.

"Be quiet." Was whispered in my ear.

I flushed. It was an accident but no one's held me like that before.

"Can you keep your voice down?"

I nodded.

The stranger removed his hands and I turned around. My eyes turned wide.

"Nano-chan?!"

"Matsuyuki-san?!"

I blinked at the sudden appearance. He's the new student?

He smiled at me and extended his hand. "We meet again and please call me Reiyu."

I think I flushed at that and took his hand. "Why does this have to be so secretive?" I asked him.

"Because I'm your bodyguard." He smiled.

"My what?!"

He covered my mouth and suddenly he pushed me into the janitor's closet. "I told you to be quiet!" He whispered.

"Sorry!"

I guess he pushed me too hard and we accidentally fell. And he accidentally landed on top of me.

It was completely pitch black in the janitor's closet with no light at all. I felt his breath on my ear.

"I'm supposed to be protecting you-"

"Why?"

"Information got slipped out that you were Yukumi-sama's daughter."

I blinked taking in all my surroundings. "So..."

"I'll be in all of your classes, watching over you."

"Wha-" He covered my mouth again.

I removed his hand away again and stood up.

"So, you didn't need me to show you around the school?" I asked trying to hide my sadness but you could still hear it in my voice somewhere.

This is what happened five years ago. I had to change to this school because information slipped from a traitor in Yukumi Corp.

He was standing now too. I heard him hesitate. "No."

My heart sank. He's just another bodyguard that I'm going to bother. The last one was a teacher and he had to be moved to another school too. I bet he doesn't even want this job. I held back my tears. I don't want to leave. I finally got used to this place. I'm just bothering people. This sucked. Ugh..

I suddenly felt dizzy and felt myself fall.

I was waiting for that impact of my face to come in contact with a wall or something but I just felt arms cradle around me tight.
